Found on the gorgeous island of Majorca in the Playa de Alcudia region, the Roc Boccaccio Hotel is a wonderful four-star property made for families, couples, and those who love cycling. The surrounding area is perfect for exploring on two wheels and it’s easy to get around whether you’re a novice or a pro. The hotel offers bicycle rental and can offer advice on where to venture. Completely refurbished in 2018, the Roc Boccaccio is also found right on the beach – the eponymous Playa de Alcudia of the region.

Making the most of the beachfront location is the hotel’s beachside restaurant, which serves up buffet international fare. There is an additional buffet restaurant onsite too, as well as a Tropical Bar serving up cocktails throughout the day. In addition to bike rental, the hotel offers tennis courts and a number of water sports are also available on the beach. Sun loungers and parasols surround the outdoor pool, while Lake Esperanza is also close by if you want a scenic stroll.

The largest of the Balearic Islands, Majorca is characterised by white beaches, luxurious resorts like Roc Boccaccio and vivacious nightlife. This urban charm found on the southern side of the island is matched in popularity by the wild, jagged seaside cliffs, mountainous ridges and azure coves in its northern part.

Start your exploration of Majorca from the top of Bellver Castle in Palma. Perched on top of a hill, it offers panoramic views of the area below and the mountains rising in the background. Walk along the seafront until you come to the majestic Majorca Cathedral and the Royal Palace of L’Almudain, two amazing sites covered in Majorcan history.

Among other stunning landmarks, remember to visit the surreal Joan Miro Museum, the beautiful buildings around Plaça del Mercat, and the Pueblo Español museum. Outside the capital, you can explore the breath-taking Drach Caves near the city of Porto Cristo. Small boats will take you through lit-up caves where numerous stalactites hang from the ceiling. Regardless of what brings you to Majorca, you’re guaranteed to find something new and enchanting about this sun-swept destination.
